+ZeroWrite blocked something I trust
Open the alert and choose Allow — the decision is recorded locally and the item runs. If you believe the verdict was wrong in general rather than just for you, send us the file's SHA-256 and the rule name shown in the alert. False positives are the metric we care most about; reports genuinely change the rule packs.
+Something malicious got through
Send the SHA-256 hash to support and tell us roughly how the file arrived. Do not attach the sample unless we ask — and if we do, we will tell you how to send it safely. Missed detections are not treated as vulnerabilities, but they are treated as urgent.
+My licence key will not activate
Check that every seat is not already in use — each licence covers a set number of machines. You can free a seat by deactivating ZeroWrite on a machine you no longer use. If the key is correct and seats are available, send us the key and we will look at the licence record.
+I have lost my licence key
We store only a one-way hash of your key, so we genuinely cannot read it back to you — that is deliberate, and it means a breach of our systems yields no usable keys. We can issue you a replacement key instead; the old one stops working.
+The engine is using more resources than expected
ZeroWrite targets under 2% CPU at idle and under 150 MB resident. Sustained figures well above that are a bug we want to see. Send your app version, Windows build, and what was running at the time.
+How do I uninstall it?
Use Add or remove programs in Windows Settings. The installer stops and removes the protection service as part of uninstalling. Quarantined files are deleted with it, so restore anything you want to keep first.
Found a vulnerability rather than a bug? That goes to security@zerowrite.ai under our disclosure policy.
